Property Manager for residential communities and office buildings in the Charlottesville and Harrisonburg areas.  Attended Virginia Southern Business College in Roanoke, Virginia.  On‑site manager for Fralin and Waldron, Inc., Roanoke (1973‑1978); promoted to Personnel and Training Director in 1978.  Married in February 1980 and moved with husband to Atlanta, Georgia; joined Post Properties, a premier property management firm in Atlanta.  Managed several communities in the Metro Atlanta Area, including marketing and pre‑leasing activities on newly constructed properties.  Husband transferred to Los Angeles in February 1983; joined Arnel Management as Property Supervisor responsible for several hundred apartment units.  Relocated to Charlottesville with husband in August 1984 and joined Great Eastern as on‑site manager for the Westgate Apartments. September, 1987 promoted to Property Manager for Charlottesville area.  July, 2001 promoted to Managing Director Residential and Condominium properties.  Treasurer and member of the Board of Directors of the Blue Ridge Apartment Council.  Recipient of the Virginia Apartment and Management Association’s 2007 Gloria D. Jacobs Member of the Year Award. Licensed realtor, Commonwealth of Virginia.
