Charlottesville–Right Now: Brian Wheeler updates us on the North Pointe development
Brian Wheeler of
Charlottesville Tomorrow joins Coy Barefoot every Tuesday
for an update on growth and development issues in the region. On
the May 16 edition he gave a status report on the proposed North
Pointe development. The project calls for a mixture of
commercial and residential units on over 200 acres on the east
side of U.S. 29 just north of Airport Road. Like other projects
of its kind in the region, North Pointe has proved quite
controversial. Brian outlines the points being discussed by
those for and against the project.
